Front Impact Sonata Crash Test
2011 Hyundai Sonata
In honor of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata being one of two to receive an all five-star rating on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s new safety evaluation, we thought it would be fun to see some video of the Sonata crashing including the newly enforced tests.
Since vehicles have become safer than ever, tougher federal crash tests for 2011 models have been enforced along with new procedures like including, for the first time, a female dummy and a side crash into a pole, making it harder to get top 5-star scores.
The Front impact video is featured on the right of this blog, and the video uses the female dummies as passengers.
